The Frederick Farmers Market is held every Saturday from May through Thanksgiving from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The vendors meet in the parking lot in front of Gavigan’s Furniture (old Wolfe’s furniture) on the Golden Mile. Products vary from meat, vegetables, fruit, cheese, etc. to soap, honey and handmade jewelry. Residents are encouraged to support local farmers by purchasing the products grown here in the region.
