Frederick is embarking on a bicycling and walking plan, called Let’s Move Frederick, to see how everyone can be accommodated on its streets and it wants to hear from Golden Mile residents about what the city is doing well and what it could do better.
Given the importance of this plan to the residents of the Golden Mile, the Golden Mile Alliance is hosting a “listening session” by the City to assure your needs are represented.
JOIN city transportation planner, David Edmondson, and the GMA to discuss and provide your thought and vision for your neighborhood. The “listening session” will be on Wednesday, June 30 at 6:00 pm on Zoom.
If you can’t attend the “listening session” you can provide your input by taking the Let’s Move Frederick Bicycling and Walking Plan SURVEY by end of July.
Visit Frederick is pleased to announce this year’s Summer Restaurant Week from August 2-8, 2021. Participation is once again free — we will return to paid participation in 2022.
To participate in the August 2-8 Frederick Restaurant Week promotion, please sign-up here.
We’ll contact participating restaurants in a few weeks with a separate form for menu collection. While there is no cost to participate in the event, we are still requiring participating restaurants to offer a special multi-course prix fixe menu during Restaurant Week — so start thinking about your dishes! Menus will be due by July 12.
We also like to encourage restaurants to consider featuring local wine, beer and/or spirits as optional pairings with your Restaurant Week menu. Can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with this year!
